Purchased by the Glover family in 2018 with permission to demolish, the family couldn't bring themselves to demolish a property with such heritage. Instead they retained the existing building and gave it a new lease of life, bringing it into the 21st century whilst maintaining its traditional character. Despite the effects of Covid lockdowns, the house was completed over 2 years and sold within 4 weeks of completion, with two back-up offers in place.

By using the footprint of the original barn, Glover managed to secure planning for a new build, bringing a beautiful contemporary barn style property to the Surrey countryside.
